The blackbird family have been very busy over the past few days taking nesting material up to our new Nesting Perch, which has taken the place of Bird Box 2 (which is being repositioned). There was a few days where we did not see the blackbirds at all and during this time, we repositioned the camera onto the nest. Then, a few days later, the blackbirds were back and the female spent several hours sitting on the nest. When she got up, she revealed one egg right in the centre of the nest!!!
